Success Tips: Be The Change You Want To See

Be The Change You Want To SeeEverybody knows that change is good. If it wasn’t for change, America would still be a British colony and Texas wouldn’t be a republic. Without change, the world would be a boring place. There would be no personal growth nor physical growth, Nazi Germany would be in control of the world, and there would be no chance for you to have a better life.

Here’s what I’ve noticed: Many people say they want to change in their lives but they just don’t know where to start. Mahatma Gandhi once said, “Be the change you want to see” – but what exactly does this mean?

Can one person really make a difference?

In this post, we’re going to dive into this very topic and discuss what kind of impact one person can have on your business, on your life, and on the world.

To Be The Change You Want To See…

YOU must change.

May people look at the world and they wonder what’s happening. Why are people struggling? Why is there a 54% divorce rate? Why is unemployment so high? Why are so many families living on the street and starving? Why are gas prices so high? Why is the economy in such turmoil?

Why…why…why…why?

I’m not conceited enough to claim that I have the answers to those questions – but what I can tell you is if you are wondering if one person really can make a difference…the answer is yes!

In order to see change, we must change. You must change. You must learn to be the change you want to see in this world and set the example. As leaders, we must be willing to grow and become inspired so that we can inspire others and facilitate change.

Can One Person Really “Be The Change” And Make A Difference?

Jesus Christ was one person that rebelled against the religious leaders of his day and sparked a revolution so impactful that 2000 years later his passion and love can still be found in his followers. Jesus was one man who built a team of 12 men – He poured everything he had and poured who he was into those 12 men and here it is 2000 years and I’m in His downline. Jesus was one person, and yes, he made a difference.

Be the change you want to see.

Mother Teresa was one person that, for 45 years, ministered to the sick, fed the hungry, served those less fortunate, and impacted the lives of thousands around the world. Mother Teresa was one person, and yes, she made a difference.

Be the change you want to see.

Martin Luther King, Jr was one person that became a leader in the African American civil rights movement. He led the 1963 March on Washington where he delivered his famous “I have a dream” speech. Martin Luther King, Jr was one person, and yes, he made a difference.

Be The Change You Want To SeeChange Begins With Us!

It’s so easy to look at our circumstances and just complain or just feel hopeless. But if we want to see change in this world…in our world…WE MUST CHANGE!

It first starts with changing what we put into our minds. Our minds are like file cabinets and the only files that can be pulled out are the ones we have stored in there. If you want to get rid of all fear, doubt, and unbelief so that you can be more effective in your business, then you’re going to have to change what goes into your mind!

Once you change what goes into your mind, then your attitude will start to change. You’ll notice instead of feeling hopeless, you start to feel a sense of hope! Instead of complaining, you’ll feel a call to spring into action. When you take action, the change you experienced in your personal life gets spread virally to those around you!

It’s only as you begin to take action that you begin to be the change you want to see in your life and in the lives of others.

Will you resolve to change what goes into your mind and be a mover, a shaker, and a history maker? Will you make the choice to serve others and gain influence in their lives so that you can make an impact?

“The number one reason why most people fail in network marketing and MLM is because they look at their business as simply a business to make money instead of as a solution to make a difference.” -Leigh Ellis

So what about you? Will you do what it takes to change yourself and be the change you want to see or will you continue to complain and ask why?

I’ve always heard the age old saying “if you want something to change then you have to change something” – and it’s never held more true than what it does right now.

We can’t keep doing the same things over and over again and expect a different result. We’re going to have to change the way that we think so that we can be the change we want to see and impact lives.

In the end, you can pass the buck and make excuses or you can accept responsibility and make an impact. The choice is yours.
