Why You’re Broke (and what you can do about it)

Why You’re Broke (and what you can do about it)

Why You're BrokeAnyone who says that money isn’t important obviously doesn’t have any.

Rich people understand the importance that money has in our society while poor people validate their financial ineptitude by using irrelevant comparisons.” -T. Harv Eker, Author of “Secrets of the Millionaire Mind”

People who are broke say things like, “Money isn’t as important as love“. Here’s a great question…what’s more important, your arm or your leg?

Maybe they’re BOTH important? Well, how about that…

The Most Costly Mistake…

Most people never reach their fullest potential because they’re too busy taking advice from people who have settled for mediocrity. The biggest and most costliest mistake anyone can make is taking financial advise from people who are broke.

What always amazes me (and what saddens me to no end) is whenever a new entrepreneur is born and starts to believe in something bigger than the every day status quo only to have their visions and dreams ripped away from unqualified…

Dream sucking vampire friends and relatives…

…that are so miserable and so broke they can’t even afford to pay attention!

Most Broke People Are Full Of…

I love it whenever people say “money doesn’t make you happy“.

My response?

“Being broke doesn’t make you happy either!”

Here’s the cold hard reality, and I know I’m about to piss a few people off:

Most broke people are so full of crap there “ain’t” a septic tank big enough to hold it all.

4 Reasons Why Being Rich Is a GOOD Thing

1. Lifestyle – You only live once. Life isn’t a dress rehearsal so make the best of it. Why shouldn’t you and your family have the best vacations, drive the cars you want to drive, live in a nice house, and go to the schools you want to go to? Don’t you deserve it?

2. Contribution – When you have money,  you can help. When you have the resources, you can do much more by giving financially than you could ever do without the resources.

3. Character – The person ‘you’ have to become in character, in virtue, and in habit. Most people who are ‘broke’ don’t understand that wealth is a result of being GREAT at what you do! Having a specific target of wealth forces you to become a better you.

4. Stop Worrying – Money is the number one cause of divorce in the United States. I don’t know if you’ve ever noticed or paid attention, but the very ones that say that money isn’t important are the very ones where money rules their lives!

Money shouldn’t rule ANYBODY’S life – so why don’t you just get it handled once and for all?

What YOU Can Do About Being Broke

There are some practical steps you can take to get out of the rut that you’re in an overcome your circumstances. Despite what you’ve been taught or what you believe – if you’re willing to change, you will change. Change your surroundings and your surroundings will change.

Being RichStep 1 – You must believe that YOU deserve it.
All the ‘self help’ and ‘hand holding’ in the world does absolutely NO good if you don’t believe you deserve to be successful and be wealthy. You must be willing to reprogram your hard drive (your mind) for success.

Step 2 – Stop taking financial advice from people who are broke!
You wouldn’t take advice on weight loss from someone who is overweight, would you? Then why take the financial advice of all your broke negative friends, relatives, and co-workers instead of from people who have already achieved the level of success you’re looking for?

Step 3 – Understand that if you want to have something different, then you have to DO something different.
We can’t keep doing the same things over and over again and expect anything to actually change. You’re never going to become wealthy working a dead end job.

If you can look at the last 5-10 years of your life and you’re completely satisfied with where you’re at spiritually, emotionally, physically, and mentally, then chances are you’re as successful as you’re ever going to be.
